Featuring the USAF Thunderbirds jet performance team, exhilarating formation flights, stunning aerobatic performances and a host of WWII warbirds, attendees can get up close and personal with an assortment of different aircraft. During the morning hours, attendees can tour the warbird ramp and see the aircraft both inside and out, meeting the pilots and crews.
At the end of each day warbird fans can take a flight aboard one of the vintage aircraft. Representing the CAF Gulf Coast Wing at the airshow will be the renowned SNJ / T6 Texan advanced trainer in which thousands of airmen trained for combat. Just imagine stepping aboard the very airplane that trained naval aviators in Pensacola during WWII!
Also attending will be the twin engine Navy JRB, Little Raider. Painted as a flag officer’s personal transport in crisp Navy blue, the whole family can fly together in comfort in this popular warbird.
Living History Flights are offered beginning Friday October 13th through Sunday October 15th, after the airshow performances. Warbird flights start as low as $150 on the Navy JRB transport, and are $380 on the SJN/T6 Texan advanced trainer. Fans who want the ultimate warbird flight experience on one of these aircraft can make a reservation now for one of the limited number of 20-minute flights on the classic planes.
